In Tanzania, boxing is a sport where women have not had a place until now. However, a growing number of young Tanzanian women are now taking up boxing, harboring dreams of turning it into their career.
Over several weeks in 2022 & 2023, I followed 19 boxers through their training, competitions, and daily lives, aiming to understand their motivations and challenges.
